Personal Data
Erasmus MC respects your privacy and attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this privacy statement, we explain what personal data we collect when You use the Slimmer Zwanger app, why we collect this data, who has access to it, and how You can exercise your privacy rights. Use of the App
The Slimmer Zwanger app serves as a tool to support You through coaching in improving your nutrition, lifestyle habits and mental health (wellbeing) before and during pregnancy. The coachingprogram aims to increase the chance of pregnancy, improve pregnancy outcomes, and enhance the health and wellbeing of You and your (unborn) child. Additionally, the program acts as a tool to facilitate a lifestyle consultation with your treating physician. You remain personally responsible for following the advice provided by the program.
As a participant, You complete questionnaires to map your (un)healthy nutritional and lifestyle habits as well as your mental health. Based on this data, a tailored program is set up for You on your mobile phone to enhance your knowledge and skills, enabling you to change unhealthy habits and maintain healthy ones.
The content of the program is based on the experiences and scientific knowledge of the web application www.slimmerzwanger.nl (2012-2024). It has also been enriched with the latest insights contributed by users, researchers, (para)medical professionals, and behavioral experts. Erasmus MC is not liable for any direct or indirect damage that may result from the use of the information provided. No rights or claims can be derived from the app's content.
Erasmus MC does not guarantee that following the program will detect or change all health risks and habits. Therefore, no guarantee can be provided for achieving a (healthy) pregnancy or having a healthy child.
The Slimmer Zwanger app contains links to websites and apps offered by third parties. These links are provided for informational purposes only. Erasmus MC has no control over these websites and is not responsible or liable for the information, products, and/or services offered there.
